New Year 2012 Dragon

This is going to be my birth-year creature, I decided I wanted to commemorate it in a small drawing.

It took a while to plan, but I’m very happy with the results I got. I spent a lot of time figuring out the right colour combination for the dragon and numbers!

The White Man and the Eel

Yeah, titles are difficult with me. The White Man and the Eel is the de facto title for this work. Its origin is the project which I am doing with Stephen Ortlepp, a German musician. Trapped in Space is the first work I’ve done for this project, you can read about it on his blog.

I leave myself free to interpret the music as I see fit, drawing from the feelings that it generates, the themes it fits.

Trapped in Space

This is one of those pictures that one feels proud with enough to post it really big.

This is one piece from a project I’m working on with my friend musician, Stephan Ortlepp and a friend of his. It’s a creative collaboration with music and art. I’ve been tapping into the music that he will be including, getting inspired and producing this work.
