Christmas Market in Leipzig
The spirit of festivity has come to Leipzig with the opening of the Christmas Market, the Weihnachtsmarkt, on the 22nd of November. It’ll be here for a whole month, complete with a giant Christmas tree, gift and food stalls and beautiful decorations of the city.
Local-made ornaments and decorations are a staple here, there are numerous stalls for wooden, glass and woven Christmas tree decorations, as well as incense, candle and pottery stalls, which I’ve seen around Easter as well.
